- - To receive and execute instructions from Site Superintendent and/or Site Engineers;
- To assist and monitor sub-contractors on the progress of works;
- To estimate the quantity of formwork, rebar and other construction material usage for the efficient use of manpower and machinery;
- To be aware of rebar and formwork material usage on site, and to control wastage where possible;
- Responsible in coordination of material orders for own site usage as well as sub-contractors;
- To ensure that all site workers adhere to site safety procedures;
- Responsible in monitoring the daily activities of general workers, to maintain optimum productivity and to sign off the workers’ kong card on a daily basis;
- To record the Day Work Sheet on a daily basis and provide clear descriptions of the work;
- Responsible in managing and maintaining site housekeeping;
- To verify the usage of machinery, high value material and bulk order material. - Requirements :
- - Candidates must possess at least a SPM / “O” Level / Professional Certificate / Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management. Candidates with previous experiences in Traffic Management are encouraged to apply.
- At least two (2) years on working experience in the construction industry, preferably with Reinforced
- Concrete (RC) structures.
- Previous experience in bar bending schedule, understanding of reinforcement (structural) drawings is an added advantage.
- Ideal candidate must be familiar with construction material, equipment, machineries, etc. and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong organization and problem solving skills.
- Self motivated, possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Must be willing to be based outstation (if and when required). - Lowest Qualification :
