Description :: • Pre and Post contract management responsibilities, contract negotiations, contract administration;
• Responsible for taking off quantities, sourcing subcontractor and suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission;
• Determine the variation that will be used to produce valid cost and other estimates;
• Prepare and submit progressive claims to clients within specific time frame, payment collections and final accounts settlement;
• Attend to site valuation and measurement of work done on site and verify subcontractor’s monthly claim;
• To liaise with subcontractors, consultants and other parties involved in all contractual related issues;
• Review offers and quotes by contractors according to requirements to determine the most beneficial alternative;
• To undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements :: Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at lease a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Management or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction industry/preferably in Civil Engineering works;
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Working Location: Malacca/Johor Bahru
• Familiar with measurement/taking off, project costing and contract administration;
• Familiar with material and workmanship specification will be an added advantage;
• Good communication skills with ability to interact with people at all levels;
• Committed and able to work independently;
