Description :: We seek motivated and talented individuals with design flair and experience to lead a team to produce simultaneous projects, large and small. The incumbent must have an equal passion for both design and technical knowledge necessary to see projects through all phases of design and construction at the highest possible level.
- Liaise with Client Representative to ensure that Project Goals are met
- Perform Administrative and Professional Architectural Work by managing projects from inception through construction
- Provide leadership to the project and the project design team consisting of architects, engineers and designers and external consultants
- Participating in preliminary studies and estimates of proposed building projects,
- Prepare concept designs proposals in collaboration with designers
- Plans and prepares documentation, construction drawings and specifications for the project
- Ensure works meet the Authorities and Code requirements
- Performing the role of Architect in managing the Building Contract
Requirements :: - Possess at least a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited school of architecture.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on high-end architecture and interior architecture
- Architectural registration with LAM is an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
- Experienced and comfortable working directly with Clients
- A team player, articulate, good writing skills, demonstrate the ability to think strategically and good leadership skills.
- Sound knowledge of local codes and approval processes in Malaysia
- Experienced in project management processes, including responsibility for project schedule, coordination and leadership of the design team including staff and consultants through 5 phases of Basic Services
- Passion for technical detail and for the process of tightly integrating of design concepts with materials and methods.
- Proficiency with Autocad, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Adobe Suite
- Malaysian Citizens or Permanent Residents with valid work permits.
- Software: AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, Interior Design
- Strong Presentation skills with a clean, functional aesthetic
- Knowledge of materials and fabrication.
- Willingness to expand knowledge and continually research.
- Ability to design within the parameters of an established brand
- An understanding of designing within context; culture, landscape, art, light, history
