Description :: Processing raw camera files/photos for web/print use as banners, brochures, and flyers.
• Manage and manipulate digital images to produce the highest-quality images possible.
• Disguise imperfections in photographs by adding shading, cutting and mounting prints, and working toward briefs and specifications.
• Specialize in taking an existing photograph and enhancing the image through the application of certain artistic enhancement techniques.
• Work predominantly in digital formats, editing backgrounds, adjusting color tones and retouching subject textures.
• Liaising with management to determine their requirements and budget
• Working with marketing teams, briefing and advising them with regard to proposal style, format, print production and timescales
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and internet website
• Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on agreed brief
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
Requirements :: • Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
• Must have strong knowledge and skills in Adode Photoshop
• Minimum 3 year experience in designing web banners, brochures, and flyers
• Ability to use any other professional level photo editing software program such as Corel's Paintshop Photo Pro/Macintosh Base/Illustrator will be an added advantage.
• Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas, concepts and designs.
• Owns a photographic portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Must have a positive attitude, motivated, disciplined, willing to learn, hardworking and ability to meet deadline.
• Able to work under pressure, work independently, for long hours.
