Description :: - Manage and lead the finance team
Ensure overall governance including relevant legal & accounting requirements.
- Prepare Quarterly Board papers and results for announcement to Bursa Malaysia.
- Prepare Group monthly management reports, including cash management.
- Review Group quarterly forecast and annual budget.
- Ensure continuous improvement of internal control – streamline business procedures as well as ensuring theintegrity of the financial data.
- Liaison with tax agents and tax authorities on tax matters concerning group of companies.
- Monitor compliance to accounting standards and policies and also adherence to Group’s operating policies & procedures.
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, company secretarial, tax agents and other statutory bodies/authorities.
- Fulfill all internal and external reporting requirements and to provide timely and accurate data for management decision making.
- Provide strong support to management decision making and drive to bring greater efficiency.
- Carry on any adhoc tasks when required.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess a Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance / Accounting and must be a member of MIA or other professional accounting bodies.
- Minimum 510 years practical experience under finance and audit / tax.
- Knowledge of Malaysian FRS and Bursa Malaysia rulings.
- Experienced in handling Group accounts.
- Good IT and ERP knowledge with experience in databases and queries.
- Familiar with Malaysian tax systems and company secretarial matters.
- Mature personality with highly developed analytical, leadership and good interpersonal skills and is able to work independently.
- Computer literate and fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to travel from time to time to oversee subsidies.
