Description :: -Procurement of raw materials, indirect materials (including packing materials, on the basis of Purchase Requisition Order which are approved by Deputy General Manager or
General Manager)
-To source for suppliers and select those which are compliant company's requirement.
-Due consideration to be given to quality, price, terms of payment, delivery lead time and service/technical support assistance, subject to the approval by the relevant parties.
-To maintain Approved Vendors List (AVL)
-To negotiate and conclude purchases with the approved vendors. Ensuring that the deliveries are in accordance with delivery schedules stipulated in the Purchase
-Order issued by the Department and thereafter to verify and submit supplier's Invoices to
-Accounts and Finance Department for the processing of payment.
-To sign Purchase Order upon approval by General Manager or Managing Director.
-To facilitate shipping and transportation of goods that are imported as well as local goods.
-To arrange for marine and inland transit insurance (open) cover for purchases made.
-To provide Raw Material Pricing on a monthly and on spot basis as and when required by Design Department.
Requirements :: -Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic or equivalent.
-At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
