Description :
1. Assist to screen and short-list candidates and schedules interview appointments and conducts interviews for positions of Non-Executive Level, if required.
2. Prepare letters of offer to selected candidates and various HR Letters (appointment, confirmation, promotion, resignation for non-executive level, pre-admission to hospital or medical check-up for executive and non-executive level, etc.)
3. Conduct orientation program and exit interviews for positions of Non-Executive Level.
4. Administering staff Training including sourcing training providers according to Training Plan, administering HRDF claims, collating the training evaluation (pre and post-assessment) to ensure effectiveness of training.
5. Build employee database into HR system and ensure database accuracy for training records, leave records, absenteeism, lateness, medical, appraisal etc. and for any computerization projects.
6. Monitor the disciplinary record of employees including disciplinary action in conjunction with Head of Depts.
7. Co-ordinate Domestic Inquiry (DI) Panel proceeding and ensure notes of DI are completed within 3 days from date of DI and follow-up on disciplinary action as recommended up
8. Administer and ensure all executives are insured under the Company’s Group Medical Health Plan and manage/process any medical claims arises.
9. Prepare monthly reports e.g. monthly manpower movement/staff turnover analysis, discipline records, staff training analysis, payroll report, etc.
10. Facilitate and co-ordinate the Yearly Appraisal Performance Form for all employees.
11. Assist in ensuring good HR practices are practice throughout the Group including welfare & benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions of employment and assist in compiling salary data for industry salary survey to ensure competitiveness in industry compensation.
12. Assist in administering and review the performance of the Security Guards in providing a safe, healthy and secure work environment to all employees including visitors, suppliers and contractors within the Company’s premises and recommend any improvement in security measures.
13. To supervise, coach, develop and train the subordinates in their work.
14. Any adhoc assignments or reviews as and when necessary and delegated.
 
Requirements :
1. Advance Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management/Psychology/Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
2. Well-versed in Employment Act and Industrial Relations
3. Minimum 2 years working experience in related field
4. Sound knowledge in Labor Legislations and Regulations
5. Experience in unionized environment is an added advantage
6. Possess good communication, planning and organizing skills
7. Good in MS Office; Ms Excel, Ms Word and Powerpoint
8. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
