Description :: - Accountable for all quality-related matters and day-to-day activities of the QA function, as well as to serve as a Management Representative to set up and maintain quality system in accordance with the company's quality system requirements.
- Establish quality policies and priorities to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Establish and define job responsibilities and accountability of staff in QA department.
- Plan, develop and implement appropriate quality control plan and techniques to optimize and improve current process capability and product quality.
- Set up cross-function management or internal audit system to check Quality System effectiveness so that appropriate and timely corrective action could be taken to achieve continuous improvement.
- Lead, guide and motivate QA personnel to have total commitment and involvement in all quality improvement programmes implementation to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Responsible for process capability, product quality and quality system adequacy and effectiveness. Reviewing, and initiate quality improvement programmes.
- Analyze defect data (production, scrap, and RMAs) to ensure root cause resolution. Drives corrective actions and continuous improvements. Promote use of Corrective Action System.
- Manage customers' queries and complaints as well as corrective and preventive action programmes
- Work closely with customers, production and suppliers in solving quality issues and meeting quality requirements
- Represent company for any certification audit, co-ordinate audit and provide auditors with access to evidence
Requirements :: - Candidate must have at least Degree
- Minimum 5 years experience
- An effective trainer, possess good communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of various quality management system and ISO standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001

Medicplas Enterprise commenced business operation as a sole proprietorship in 1982 involved mainly in the trading of medicine bottles, boxes and pill containers. These products were supplied mainly to the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

To cater for business expansion, Medicplas Industries Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 27th May, 1987 as a private limited company. During this period, the company commenced manufacturing its own products and its original factory was located at 20A-21A, Jalan Kangkong, 4Â½ Miles, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur.
