Description :: - Support and assist with:
* coordinating the work of appointed Committees and Working Groups including attending meetings, recording proceedings of meeting as well as implementing, executing and following-up of necessary actions and decisions agreed upon at such meetings;
* coordinating and collating issues, feedback or proposals for discussion or submission to the relevant parties;
* monitoring and following-up on the status/development of submissions.
- Research current trends and developments in the capital markets industry as well as gathering industry statistics/data; and
- Assist with the organising of education and development programmes and events hosted by MIBA.
Requirements :: - Degree in Economics/Banking/Mass Communication or graduate of MAICSA;
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply but relevant working experience would be an added advantage
- Diligent, self-motivated and highly resourceful;
- Highly responsible with strong ability to multi-task and ability to work independently;
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Sound writing skills; and
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.

The Malaysian Investment Banking Association (MIBA) was incorporated on 9 September 1975 as the Association of Merchant Banks in Malaysia to promote and safeguard the interests of investment banks, uphold sound business practices and ethics and the highest standards of professionalism whilst strengthening the bond and goodwill within the investment banking fraternity. The Association also provides a forum for close collaboration, dialogue, exchange of views and ideas and consultation with the regulatory authorities and other market intermediaries.

Since the Association's incorporation, investment banks have played vital roles in the development of a dynamic and vibrant capital market. As the industry landscape continues to evolve, driven by technological advances and emergence of new business models, integration of financial products and services, liberalization and globalization, the challenges to respond and adapt rapidly to the demands and changes of market dynamics and maintain our market niche would increasingly heightened.
