Description :: The Accountant is fully in charge of accounts receivables function and genera! accounting functions of Dunham-Bush Industries Sdn. Bhd.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Supervising and reviewing the preparation of full set of accounts, prepare monthly financial statement and reports within tight deadline
• Supervising of accounts receivable function of the company and review all sales related report, journal voucher, credit note and debit note prepared by sales executive.
• Review reconciliation intercompany balances and debtor statements prepared by accounts executive
• Review and ensure on time preparation of customer LC negotiation and follow up closely with bank for the LC submission and collection
• Direct and manage the process for budgets and financial forecasting and exercise control to ensure the expenditures are within the budget
• Ensure that effective internal control are in place to promote efficiency, assure the implementation of policies, safeguard assets and avoid fraud or error
• Responsible to handle the annual budget exercise, company tax computation, deferred tax and filing of annual tax return
• Coordinating the yearly audit exercises, prepare the Audited Financial Statement, liaison with external auditors to ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standard in Malaysia
Requirements :: • Candidate must possess a degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or its equivalent
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in handling full set account preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Posses high integrity, independent and committed with good leadership, analytical and communications skills together with a strong sense of responsibility
• Proactive, fast learner, self motivated, multi tasking and performance driven
• Proficient in Excel, Words and PowerPoint and experience in ERP system such as JDE will be preferred

- Female candidates with good command of Mandarin will be an advantage
