Description :: -To lead and manage the whole spectrum of the finance function including building a strong financial control environment and providing meaningful financial information for decision making
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, banking regulations and other regulatory requirements
- Provide financial expertise, insights and recommendations on financial matters
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, consultants and local regulatory bodies
- To oversee Tax Incentives application; Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing documentations, GST/SST compliance and tax audits
- Guide and inspire finance team to focus on value-added activities, streamlining/refining processes and deliverables
- Participating in ad-hoc analysis/special projects
Requirements :: - 1st class / 2nd class upper degree in Accounting from a reputable university or professional Accounting qualification and a member of MIA, ACCA or CIMA
- At least 5 years audit experience from one of the Big 4 accountancy firms.
- Cost Accounting Experience in Manufacturing environment; Experience in managing data analysis and reporting in an ERP environment will be an added advantage
- Familiar with IFRS/MPERS and latest tax regulations and exposure to International Trade and
- Finance is preferred.
- Willing to be based at Pasir GUdang and relocate to Overseas/travelling to overseas if required.
- Sharp analytical skills with an eye for details and problem solving skills
- Eloquent in both written and spoken English, with the ability to develop strong positive relationships with senior level stakeholders across the business
