- - To prepare the minutes of EXCO meeting
- Any other meeting as and when required by GM/CFO.
- Preparation of Executive Summary Report for Finance Department
- Monitoring the monthly and yearly budgets and cash flows.
- Preparation of report as and when required by the stakeholders.
- Preparation and review the reports for GST submission on monthly basis.
- Preparation of accounts including taxation on monthly and yearly basis.
- To ensure sufficient funds in the operating accounts for the monthly expenses.
- To obtain approval from the authorized signatories to transfer funds from the master account for the monthly expenditure (funds request).
- Also to monitor interest income placement in the best interest of the Company.
- Check, review and verify the following documents:
- The signatory of cheques for amount RM200,000 and below (for operating accounts).
- To ensure the Delegation of Authority list approved by Board of Directors is adhered to.
- Payment vouchers, official receipts, credit notes etc.
- The Daily Car park Collection repost to ensure all monies are banked into master account.
- Employee’s overtime payments.
- To ensure deposits are collected from tenants/push cart operators.
- Keeping all resolutions and corporate forms of the Company.
- Preparation of payroll functions.
- Oversee the operations of Human Resource, Admin and Purchasing Department, IT support and carry out duties as Head of Department.
- To look after welfare of department.
- To ensure all procedures and standard of operations are adhered to with integrity and with confidentiality.
- Safekeeping of cash collection and the petty cash float.
- To liaise with insurance agent for insurance purposes.
- To liaise with the Company’s external/internal auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers.
- Preparation of rental billings and other ad hoc billings to tenants, push cart operators and exhibitors.
- To monitor collection of rentals and other arrears, notice of demands and legal actions.
- Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Accounting qualification recognized by MIA.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Finance and Accounting role.
- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadline.
- Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, meticulous, team player and able to lead a team
