Description :: Establish formal investor communication for result announcements
• Prepare analyst briefing materials ( Financial updates/ strategies)
• Improve communication materials in line with market practices
• Review press release/staff communication contents
• Assist with briefing proceeding and result release to Bursa
Support effective interactions with the investor/analyst community
• Prepare financial analysis to gain business insights
• Formulate and implement strategic plans to foster strong ties with investors, analysts and financial community.
• Lead IR activities during result cycle (meetings/roadshows)
• Assist to prepare responses to investors’ enquiries
• Prepare presentation materials and compile Q&A materials for Annual General Meeting , Gather market feedback to proactively manage market expectations
• Review analysts’ coverage reports to gather reactions, compile comments and identify factual gaps.
• Monitor major shareholding levels and provide market indicators (share price, dividend yield, total shareholders’ return, P/B, P/E) Industry research and peers’ benchmarking
• Maintain a database of peers’ financial information and key performance indicators (ROE, business growth liquidity, etc.)
• Prepare benchmarking reports – monitor ranking of value drivers
• Monitor industry trends and research into peers’ activities.
Requirements :: • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking/ Business Equivalent
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in Petrochemical industry/ financial analysis or investor relations will be an advantage
• Proficient in spoken and written English, have good communication and writing skills
• Possess strong analytical skills and have good understanding of financials.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Other key attributes include being resourceful and meticulous and able to work independently in a fastpaced
environment.
