- 1)Meeting the Financial Obligations of the company
Responsible for the timely and accurate closure of the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial results of the World Kitchen Malaysian entities
Responsible for Actual, Forecasting and Budgeting finance process
Ensure that all financial data are processed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with general accounting principles and US GAAP.
Timely submission of all government & regulatory requirements from a manufacturing/warehousing side (Customs) to company complaince ( GST, audited
financial accounts, Company income tax, etc)
Work as a business partner with Corporate, Asia Pacific Office, markets and warehouse/manufacturing teams around Asia and Malaysia on explaining
financial results – actual, forecast and budget
All financial documents and processes that affect the financial health of the company are properly authorized and adhere to company policy
Coordinate to all company secretarial matters with appointed company secretary and know the latest information relative to the conduct of a business in
Malaysia.
Prepare detailed budgets/forecast with the warehouse department heads to drive accountability.and business partnering
Oversee the Cashflow management of the Malaysian entities
Handling the external auditors and government officials – government audits, audited accounts, etc
2)Driving Performance
Responsible for understanding the financial performance of the Plant and working toward to increasing the productivity of the plant through data analytics.
Partner with team on new projects and its financial implications- couple with tracking and monitoring/manage of cost to be within specification.
3)Inventory Accounting and Oversight of Inventory controls
Ensure that the inventory costing is up todate and accurate with all information released to your customers on a timely basis.
Prepare and oversee the detailed inventory costing for budgeting purposes to ensure accuracy and timely distribution
Explain all inventory costing variance to corporate & market
Ensure that all stock adjustment are properly accounted for and that the warehouse/manufacturing continuously work towards minimizing the amount of stock
adjustments.
Work with the warehouse/manufacturing team to improve stock controls and accuracy
4)Improve Processes and increase Operational Efficiencies
Ensure that all financial processes are properly documented including documentation of controls and system processes.
Adopt a continuous improvement mentality to improving existing processes or implementing new processses in the Finance department and the plant.
Work with the warehouse/manufacturing teams to ensure processes developed have proper controls and an accountability
Implement and administer accounting policies and procedures to ensure that all practices meet the requirement of parent companies.
Formulate and implement department policies and activities covering the following areas-good management, safe and healthy working environment, and
safety of employees’ and company properties
5)Manage and Mentor Finance team
To train and develop a team of accountant, and accounts executives to preform to the best of their ability.
Be Hands on in understanding the Finance team issues and work towards implementing a solution.
Oversee and be hand-on with the finance team on understanding the accounting process and reviewing the Finance output.
6)Business Partnering
Working together with other department as a part of WKM team in supporting our Quality Policy. Ensure all related activities with regards to department
activities where applicable are consistent with the maintenance of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standard and compliance.
Be a business partner in providing value added advise to the WKM team, corporate, asia pacific regional team and markets
- Requirements :
- ACCA holder or minimum Degree in Accountancy with at least 5-7 years’ relevant working experience in manufacturing industry.
Excellent computer literacy in MS Office and SAP.
Process strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills - Lowest Qualification :
