Description :: -Work with area managers and IT to develop WebQC and WebEng infrastructure including user interface, data input process and reporting.
- Validate data on WebQC and WebEng and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Collect and monitor field data and insure data is correct and complete.
- Interface with various departments: Field Service, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing in local and global locations.
- Collect and compile statistical data concerning quality and reliability.
- Chart data and prepare reports as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned by IT, Quality and Field Service Department Managers.
Requirements :: -Associates Degree in a technical field is required, i.e. Computer Science; bachelor degree preferred.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of related database and data analysis experience in a manufacturing environment is required. experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and JMP software (for statistical analysis). Experience with VB/VBA/VBScript, and ODBC interface at least at a basic to mid-level ability.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Intermediate to advanced computer skills with an emphasis in MS Office including Access, Excel and Power Point
-Analytical background and detail oriented
-Good basic math skills
-Knowledge of statistics, query and reporting
-Able to sit at desk or computer terminal for prolonged period, use keyboard. Required travel of up to 10% to other company locations, including global travel to Europe and Asia.
