Description :: 1. Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts;
2. Preparation of annual budget and implementation of approved budget plans;
3. Oversee daily finance operations and cash management matters including forex hedging;
4. Providing financial leadership and support via working closely with the operation management team on their financials, monitoring of key indices and producing relevant regular management reporting in facilitating their decision making;
5. Liaise with auditors and tax agent for statutory audit, tax submission and related matters; and
6. Any other ad hoc assignment.
Requirements :: 1. MIA/ACCA/MACPA or any other professionally recognized qualification;
2. Minimum 10 years working experience in financial reporting
3. Relevant working experience in oleochemical/similar manufacturing is an advantage
4. Well verse with the necessary requirements/ standards/ guidelines
5. Result oriented, pro-active, able to meet datelines, reliable, open-minded with good communication and interpersonal skills.

The history of Southern Acids (M) Berhad (SAB) dates back to 1980 when Southern Acids (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated as a private limited company to venture into the oleochemical industry.

Southern Acids (M) Sdn Bhd was started by a group of local entrepreneurs, engaged primarily in the upstream oil palm market who were quick to see the potential presented by palm oil as an alternative feedstock to the oleochemical industry which was then still largely based on tallow and coconut oil.

Today, SAB and its subsidiaries is a group of companies whose businesses include investments in other palm oil related sectors, both locally and abroad. In addition to the palm oil industry, SAB also operates a private tertiary healthcare centre in Klang, Selangor.

SAB is listed on the Main Market of the Malaysian Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
