Description :: 1. To process payment including detailed verification to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance to company procedures and policies;
2. To prepare accounting documentation including payment vouchers, journal vouchers, debit/credit note, progress payment payables/receivables, control sheet etc;
3. To prepare cashbook, weekly cash flows, weekly creditors outstanding list and prepare monthly bank reconciliations;
4. To key-in financial data into accounting system (accounting classification).
5. To prepare monthly management financial statements;
6. To prepare cost analysis on ad-hoc basis;
7. To handle full set of accounts including the accounting of all payments, receipts and petty cash transactions;
8. To perform daily accounting tasks within the Finance operations.
9. Prepares L/C or B/A documents.
10. To assist in the month-end closing.
Requirements :: 1. Degree or LCCI higher in Accounting, or equivalent.
2. 3 - 5 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
3. Able to handle full set of accounts.
4. Possess strong analytical and supervisory skills.
5. Able to multi task and work with minimum supervision.
6. Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
7. Computer literate on spreadsheets and knowledge of computerized accounting
