- Reporting to the General Manager and the Vice President of Finance, the primary responsibilities are:
1. Overall management, operation and control of the accounting processes and functions of hotel, covering financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, legal matters, internal controls, credit management, billing, investment and capex evaluation,financial analysis, cash and working capital management, tax, audit, corporate and statutory compliance;
2. Develop, implement, maintain and improve accounting systems, management information systems and internal control systems;
3. Provide functional guidance to the hotel management team and effectively communicate with all levels to drive financial performance and internal controls.
- Requirements :
- 1. A degree in accounting and/or a recognized professional qualification (e.g. ACCA,MICPA).
2. At least 5 years working experience in similar capacity.
3. Possess strong accounting fundamentals and understanding of internal controls.
4. A systems and procedure oriented person with the ability to revamp structures and work process flows.
5. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
6. Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint,accounting software (e.g. SunSystems), hotel property management systems (e.g.Opera), point of sales systems (e.g. Infrasys), food and beverage management systems(e.g. Materials Control).
7. Strong command of both written and spoken English.
