Description :
Assist the Shared Service Centre (SSC) Head by leading the Service Management team as part of a global, high-performance shared service organization.
• Lead and manage the Service Management function in Penang, Malaysia and Medan, Indonesia SSCs.
• Ensure cost control within budget expenditure levels.
• Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve efficiency, service delivery and operational costs.
• Maintain constant engagement with the key stakeholders and identified governance bodies to ensure on-going maintenance of the Service Level Agreement and Operational Level Agreement.
• Evaluate change requests to determine size of impact and prioritize & evaluate change requests for approval.
• Review performance of SSC in delivering the agreed quality service to local finance.
• Analyze causes of sub-performance and establish corrective measures.
• Oversee third party resources and services, as and when necessary, to ensure assigned tasks are fulfilled efficiently and meet Service Level agreements.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of Service Level Agreement and charging mechanisms for the services provided.
• Perform analysis, identify key issues and relationships, and conduct investigations into reasons for variances, exceptions or discrepancies.
• Monitor service delivery such that agreed service levels and budgetary guidelines defined in the relevant Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure failed service levels are escalated, analyzed, resolved and followed-up on a timely basis.
• To ensure accurate and timely service reporting as per agreed schedule, including internal performance and client service performance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to better serve the companies’ business needs.
People Management
• Oversee team resources and monitor resource utilization.
• Develop contingency plans to manage attrition.
• Manage staff motivation, morale and turnover issues
• Manage team performance and career development of team members.
Strategy Management
• Participate in strategic planning of SSCs.
• Develop & manage short and long-term operational and strategic goals across functions.
• Ensure cost efficient use of resources.
 
Requirements :
• Possess a good University degree or equivalent
• Familiar with service management processes
• Experience with good understanding of a generic business model of a shared services center of a multinational corporation will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong business acumen & influence the right business decisions.
• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and a good problem-solver.
• Able to communicate effectively, influence and manage change.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English and other local languages (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia, Melayu)
• Competent in MS Office Tools (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

PGEO Group is wholly owned by Wilmar International Limited, one of Asia's largest integrated agribusiness groups.

PGEO Group’s main activity is the manufacturing of edible oils. Its activities are vertically integrated, beginning with the conversion of crude oils into refined oil products to the marketing of these oil products in bulk, steel drums and consumer packs for the local and international markets. It has one of the largest refining capacities in the country with eight refineries in Peninsular and East Malaysia. Annually, PGEO Group refines more than 4 million metric tonnes of edible oils and about 90% are exported overseas to China, India, Unites States, EU countries, Middle East, Pakistan, Japan, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, PGEO Group is also actively involved in crude palm oil futures trading, soyabean and palm kernel crushing, oleochemical manufacturing, steel drums manufacturing, manufacturing of calcium salt for animal feed and other downstream activities like the production of shortening and hydrogenated products, cocoa butter replacer and other specialty fats.

On top of that, PGEO Group has further diversified into the renewable energy industry beginning with the operations of biomass steam generation plants to supply steam, electricity and chilled water to three of its factories.
