Description :: 1. Supervise and manage team in performing financial, operational, MIS/ IT, application systems audits in accordance with audit program and annual Audit Plan.
2. Assist / Coach internal audit team in identifying internal control weaknesses and deliver practical, cost-effective and value added recommendations to the Management.
3. Possess excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Work in conjunction with Executive Director of Internal Audit to manage some of the day to day administrative responsibilities of the department
4. Report audit findings and making recommendations for corrective actions, and also adds value by bringing a systematic, disciplined and balanced approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of controls, risk management activities and governance processes.
5. Coordinating Internal Audit activities with those of the external auditors to ensure proper audit coverage, elimination of duplicate efforts, and improved efficiency and effectiveness of all audit activities.
6. Preparing comprehensive written reports.
7. Following-up to determine adequacy of corrective actions.
8. Undertaking special studies and projects as may be assigned
Requirements :: 1. A recognized Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information System or its equivalent
2. Have leadership skill, planning & project management, able to work under pressure
3. Having at least 12 years of working experience in auditing.
4. Candidates with experience in IT auditing is highly preferred.
5. Knowledge of the IIA's International standards for the professional practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and Code of Ethics
6. Certification on CIA, CRMA, CISA or CISSP is an advantage
7. Proficiency in computer-assisted audit tools and experience i.e. ACL, IDEA, Pivot Table etc
