Description :: -Identify all auditable activities & relevant risk factors & to assess their significance & the adequacy of the internal control system.
-Provide assurance on compliance to statutory requirements, laws, company policies & guidelines.
-Perform analysis, critiques & evaluations to determine legal, contractual & financial
compliance, economy, efficiency & performance effectiveness.
-Ensures audits are conducted in a thorough & objective manner within established plans & schedules & that recommendations are developed & presented which provide a sound basis for corrective actions & improvements.
-Presents findings to affected managerial personnel, explaining findings, providing advice on internal controls, acceptable practices & procedures and efficiency issues & promote implementations of recommendations.
Requirements :: -Possess a recognized Degree in Accountancy from a reputable university or professional qualification in Accountancy.
-Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA.
Preferably 5 years internal auditing experience with in-dept knowledge of accounting & auditing standards.
-Ability to commuinicated clearly & effectively, both orally & in writing.
-Personal attributes should include strong organizational & analytical skills, sound
professional judgement & problem solving capabilities.
