Description :: •To prepare accurate and timely financial management reports including but not limited to group consolidation accounts, quarterly announcement and annual reports.
•To analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and solutions.
•To liaise with external parties such as company secretary, lawyers, bankers, tax agents and government authorities on job related matters.
•To ensure compliance with accounting standards, Bursa Listing requirements, Companies Act, tax regulations and other regulatory requirements.
•To explore and evaluate business development projects, business expansion plans and/or undertake special assignment.
•To assist in any adhoc function and related duties as and when assigned by management.
Requirements :: •Candidate must possess a professional accounting qualification of ACCA or MICPA or a recognized Degree in Accounting and a member of MIA.
•Minimum 10 years of working experience with minimal 5 years in managerial position preferably in a public listed company and/or in a multinational company.
•Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
•Excellent communication and analytical skills with good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
•Possess good leadership and interpersonal qualities, highly motivated with a strong sense of integrity.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications.
•Experience in management costing is an added advantage.
•Full-Time position based at Melaka
