Description :: - Responsible for reporting to the Director of Risk Control on matters of market risk control
- Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and participating in the production of market risk reports
- Responsible for assisting the Director in the review of risk policies and Risk Control Committee meeting
- Responsible for identifying the underlying market risk associated with business activities
- Responsible for championing continuous improvement and automation in the process of risk control
- Responsible to manage, coach and develop technical competence team of market risk
- Responsible for managing the day to day relationships with key stakeholders, including regional business based in Singapore, the risk control across the region, Finance, Treasury, and other support functions
- Responsible for taking part in the management of liquidity risk.
Requirements :: - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline with CFA / FRM will be very advantegous
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in risk management with 5 years of industrial / petroleum commodities
- Creating a knowledge of commodity risk management, including VaR and stress tests
- Has experience in physical commodity and derivatives trading / energy
- Have a good understanding of the theory of financial derivatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and VBA programming
- Have experience in operational risk is beneficial.
