Description :: - Responsible to lead, drive and manage all aspects of the function of GST implementation
- Responsible t work with GST consultants and software vendors on GST implementation
- Responsible to ensure the GST is implemented smoothly within the group
- Responsible to test the updated GST accounting system before it goes live
- Responsible to co-ordinate with Operations Team within the group to ensure smooth & accurate overall running of sales billing and costing.
- Responsible to compile and maintain GST records
- Responsible to liaise with both internal and external parties including financial institutions, auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, company secretaries, government bodies for statutory and legislative requirements
- Responsible to formulate and execute strategies and framework in managing compliance with GST rules, planning and risk management to ensure that effective internal control of GST procedures are in place
- Providing tax advisory and issue resolutions on GST issues, recommending tax planning opportunities within area of GST.
- Safeguarding respective businesses interests against GST risk exposures
- Monitoring and compiling of Syn Tai Hung company REBATE issue on monthly basis
- Responsible to assist in any ad-hoc assignments relating to GST and Indirect Tax as and when required
Requirements :: - Possess at least Diploma in Accountancy or Taxation
- Well-versed in the latest FRS, Company Act and Tax Law
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Competent and has advance knowledge and hands on experience in the operation and implementation of GST and Indirect Tax preferable for trading industry
- Minimum 3 years of working experience
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to lead a team or task force is a requirement
- Independent, committed, proactive and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in audit firm and big four accounting firm will be an added advantage
